The thesis about “the end of work” and those that propose capitalism without labor, continue reducing their view to the traditional ways of production and provision of (MarcadorDePosición1)massive services. However, other perspectives are showing, first the impossibility of thinking social relations away from labor relations, and second, a new need that involves thinking in a different way about the concept of work itself. According to this, our proposal is an attempt to re-think the concept of work attending to different dimensions that today push to extend its limits. One of these new scopes today is prostitution –which we explore here in this article- as a practice that expands the frames of the traditional conception of work and sexuality. We consider that the case of Sexual Workers of Córdoba City (AMMAR) is crucial for its analysis because it is a non- profit organization that installs a new debate in public space. In order to attain our objectives, the data treatment will be carried out with the discourse analysis technique. We will attend to a set of documents and interviews made to members of AMMAR in order to identify two central dimensions that were developed in a previous investigation. First, the semantic displacement from “prostitutes” to “workers” and, second, the tension generated between body and sex, that defines a particular way of experiencing sexuality.
