In this paper we have analyzed three British solidarity instances with the Chilean, victims of the military dictatorship repression (1973-1990). They are: the Joint Working Group for Chilean Refugees (JWG), the Chile Solidarity Campaign (CHSC) and the Chile Committee for Human Right (CHCHR). From the study of these organizations we move into three paths of British agents involved in these spaces. The approach through qualitative methodology of these life trajectories led us to redefine the perspectives on the exile processes. Thus, we propose to think exile as a strictly international phenomenon, where two national communities, heterogeneous each one built a link that is not merely instrumental. We will focus on one of the parties of this link, not always studied: the receiving agents of the exile, to explain why a British group was passionately committed in a fight so far away geographically as the Chilean cause.
