This article analyzes the experiences of participants in a Digital Film Club carried out at anArgentine public university during 2025. This university outreach initiative, deliveredinavirtual and asynchronous format, consisted of the screening of documentaries aimedat recovering aspects of the life and work of key figures in the history of Argentine education. The article focuses specifically on the contributions of those who watched audiovisual productions about two prominent Argentine educators: Olga Cossettini and BertaVidal deBattini. The corpus of analysis was composed of written responses posted in discussionforums available after each screening, and hosted on a digital classroomcreatedadhoc. Responses were analyzed from a qualitative perspective using elements of groundedtheory. The results made it possible to identify that, particularly among those working in teaching, therecovery of pedagogical memory (Alliaud, 2017; Suárez, 2011) generated a dialoguewiththeir professional identity and practice (Arfuch, 2005; Cantón & Tardif, 2018; Hall, 2003), while it also enabled processes of critical reflection on their own practices. In this framework, the Digital Film Club, as a pedagogical device mediated by audiovisual language, emergesas an outreach proposal that integrates pedagogical memory, continuing teacher education, and professional identity.
