Rainbows as non-human beings, whose manifestation is directly related to the actions of certain people, are linked to artisanal work carried out by women of the Qom and Wichi peoples, in which connections between humans and non-humans that form bodies and places are expressed. Through the ethnographic research method, alternating periods of data collection and information analysis between 2012 and 2018, the relationship between rainbows, territory and humans is analyzed. The rainbows are particularly sensitive to certain smells. The smells that annoy them express the relationships of mutual construction between bodies and territories, while the smells that drive them away account for these links through the risk they take to work. These risks have to do with pressures that are exerted when the perception that guides job performance is based on one truth that is imposed on another.
