The aim of the present study was to adapt and assess the psychometric properties of the Argentine version of the Mind-Wandering Questionnaire in university students. The questionnaire was administered to 254 university students aged 18 to 58. The adaptation showed very good internal consistency reliability. Analyses indicated a good fit to a unidimensional model and demonstrated stability in a re-test. No significant differences were found in scores by gender, age, or medium of administration. The results suggest that the adaptation constitutes a reliable and valid measure for evaluating the phenomenon in university students within the Argentine context.
