Resumen

This study introduces a reformulated multicomponent Langevin-Weiss mean-field model for the analysis of magnetometry data. By expressing the model in terms of experimentally accessible quantities –mass magnetization and external magnetic field rather than volume magnetization and true magnetic field– the approach enables consistent analysis from low-field region to saturation. Finite element simulations are employed to account for susceptibility-dependent field effects arising from non-ellipsoidal sample geometries, and a compact parametrization of the resulting demagnetizing factors enables efficient correction without iterative numerical simulations. The methodology is effectively applied to a melt-spun Ni-Co-Mn-Sn Heusler alloy, capturing its complex magnetic behavior and resolving distinct ferromagnetic and paramagnetic contributions. The results further reveal an intrinsic effective magnetic anisotropy of the sample.
