The objective of the study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Learning Strategies Assessment Questionnaire for University Students (CEVEAPEU) in an Argentine population. The study included 3,403 participants. Exploratory factor analysis suggested a structure of 26 learning strategies. Confirmatory factor analyses revealed that a model with 26 correlated strategies provided the best fit. Evidence of criterion validity was also reported (relationships with academic performance and personality traits), and good reliability indices were obtained. The results support the use of the CEVEAPEU as a valid and reliable tool, while also highlighting the need for specific adjustments.
