This article shows the experience of the Housing Cooperative of “La Creciente” of Movimiento de Ocupantes e Inquilinos (MOI in Spanish, Movement of Occupants and Tenants in English) from Rosario City, identifying spatial practices involved in the self-managed cooperative process and mutual aid, using a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach developed between 2019 and 2023. Spatial practices are understood as a set of spatially located actions that directly affect space. They are human actions oriented by a spatial content that modify a portion of space and are modified by space. The spatial practices analyzed have as a fundamental element the technical, informational, and communicational densities, which act as the support of these actions. The spatial practices of self-management and mutual aid have as their central point the spatial proximity and the use of technical, informational, and communicational densities, which represent tools of articulation and action in the daily life of the cooperative.
