The European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) is an invasive exotic species whose distribution is expanding from the south-central region of Argentina. In this study, we report two new records in the province of Corrientes with evidence of reproduction: the first from September 2020 near the town of Mercedes, and the second from September 2025 near Alvear. Both cases confirm the nesting of the species in cavities within rural environments, representing the first documented breeding records for the province. Additionally, we compiled the species’ available records for Argentina and elaborated an updated map that contextualizes the new breeding records presented here.
