In this article I propose an analysis of the processes of collective organisation of the women vendors of the Public Space Workers’ Branch of the UTEP-Evita Movement within the framework of a broader process of claiming rights such as the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy (CTEP) -today UTEP. The fieldwork was carried out in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), between 2022 and 2024. I argue that the members of the women’s space generate a process of politicisation of gender and dispute over their time, which enables a collective problematisation of their practices and their place in society, allowing them to set aside exclusive moments and times for themselves, for their training, for the construction of links, and for collective organisation as women in the popular economy.
