Resumen
This dataset contains the delineation of seed transfer zones (STZs) for Neltuma alba in Argentina, generated using the TZones tool from the CAPFITOGEN package. The STZs were defined based on current environmental variables and subsequently projected under future climate change scenarios. These data allow the identification of environmentally equivalent areas that support the conservation and sustainable use of the species’ genetic resources under changing climatic conditions
Métodos
Tzones tool from CAPFITOGEN3 facilitates the identification of provisional and spatio-temporal STZs based on ELC maps created with current bioclimatic variables. The maps are projected into the future using the Random Forest algorithm and bioclimatic variables projected into potential future climate change scenarios. These potential scenarios are defined by global circulation models (GCM), shared socioeconomic pathways (SSP), and periods (years).
