This article analyzes the formation of regional unions in Southern Patagonia, Argentina (present-day provinces of Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego). Throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries we have detected the intention of different labor nuclei located in this region to form trade union structures that were not subsumed to national organizations. They intended to give their union organizational formats a regional feature, both in their structural conformation, in the control of their resources and in their proposals and demands. A series of notes are constructed here, which allow exploring these experiences and advancing in their characterization, working on cases and formulating hypotheses of interest for the historiography of the working class in Argentina.
