Results of a two-year research project (CICITCA-UNSJ 2008-2009) whose general objective is to determine the 1995 - 2009 historical variation of the Urban Heat Island and Humidity Depression, and their relationship with the variation of the urban occupation of San Juan's City, as a contribution to the bioclimatic urban planning are exposed. The statistics correspond to years 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2009, since for these years urban occupation and climatic studies have been made by the Research Unit. The historical performance of the REACH, EXTENSION AND INTENSITY variables of the Heat Island and Humidity Depression are studied in relation to the Urban Area. The results demonstrate a growth of the reach, a decrease of the extension regarding the urban limit and a growth of the intensity for both effects, as much for winter as for summer.
