In this article, a nonlinear control strategy applied to a Boost Interleaved DC/DC converter with Constant Power Load (CPL) is presented. First, the operation of the Interleaved converter is briefly described, highlighting its ability to distribute current among multiple branches, thus improving efficiency and reducing thermal stress on the semiconductor switches. Subsequently, the main characteristics and challenges associated with constant power loads, known for their negative impedance behavior that can induce system instability, are analyzed. To address this issue, a Sliding Mode Control (SMC) strategy is proposed, designed to provide robustness against nonlinearities and dynamic variations of the converter with CPL, resulting in N independent controllers for each branch of the converter. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, simulations are carried out under reference and load changes, along with an evaluation of the system under different operating conditions.
