Connected sensorialities shows the importance that the senses had in the construction of knowledge, the creation of records, and the instances of contact between natives and Europeans. This work aims to reread primary sources belonging to the first years after the conquer of South America using insights provided by connected history, Atlantic history and the history of the senses. Such analysis will allow us to recover the singularity of the encounter between the Old and the New world, especially when referring to the conformation of a sensory community that takes elements from the Late Middle Ages and mixes them with the novelties of Early Modernity.
