During the last decades, corporate philanthropy has adopted new forms and practices, both global and neoliberal, which came to update and redefine the meanings of social corporate responsibility. From the conceptual contributions of the Social Regulation Theory and methodological resources based on the network ethnography, we analyze the case of the Educational Leaders Program from Córdoba Mejora Foundation, focused on the formation of high school principals in Córdoba, Argentina. As a working hypothesis, we consider the scope and over time sustainability of the Program legitimized the transposition of strategies and training content in business management, replacing the specific pedagogical formation of principals, being this proposal also recognized by the provincial Ministry of Education. The results of this study aims to contribute to the research about the effects of think tanks in the design and enactment of educational policies, especially over the permanent formation of those who perform the school direction.
