The town of Nono, in the Traslasierra valley of the province of Córdoba, is a traditional mountain tourist destination, where these changes are taking place. The aim of this work is to analyze the transformations that mountain towns are going through in relation to their urban expansion, linked to tourism, and to discuss the role of local governments in this scenario, in view of the current conflicts in this town. A case study approach was used to analyze a national problematic.
