Terminando con la normalidad comunitaria. Heterogeneidad y especificidad populista

Abstract

En este trabajo se intenta argumentar que la especificidad de una articulación de tipo populista se encuentra en la radical inclusión de una heterogeneidad. El autor distingue entre momentos de una cadena de significación y elementos que le son extraños a fin de diferenciar una articulación populista. En este sentido, la irrupción de algo heterogéneo al campo de la representación implica la articulación de un discurso que rompe con lo común de la comunidad, creando una frontera interna a lo social que luego limitará las articulaciones posibles posteriores.This paper argues that the specificity of a populist articulation resides in the radical inclusion of an heterogeneity. The author uses the distinction between moments of a chain of signification and elements alien to it in order to differentiate a populist type of political articulation. In this sense the paper sustains that the irruption of something heterogeneous to the field of representation implies the articulation of a political discourse that breaks with the commonality of the community, creating thus an internal frontier of the social that afterwards would limit any future articulations.
