In this article, I intend to reflect on the effects of late modern acceleration on forms of life, that is, on the collective cultural orders that organize everyday coexistence. The strategy I will use is to establish a dialogue between Hartmut Rosa's theory of social acceleration and Rahel Jaeggi's account of life forms. The text is structured in three sections. In the first one (1), I reconstruct the main outlines of Jaeggi's position. In the second (2), I present very briefly Rosa’s account of social acceleration. The third and last section (3) will be dedicated to establishing a dialogue between both perspectives.
