The numerical solution of initial value problems of ordinary differential equations typically involves entering the problem specifications and a bound on the local discretization error to then generate an approximate solution of the problem. However, obtaining precise and reliable numerical solutions requires knowledge of the allowable spacing between mesh nodes (h). Also, it is necessary to carry out global error control. Therefore, the aim of this work is to analyze the behavior of the global error in the explicit Runge-Kutta methods, to determine the order of the global error and obtain the necessary condition to guarantee convergence.
