The study of suicide and the factors that intervine are key since, worldwide, for youth the ages of 15 and 19, suicide is the second cause of death in women and the third in men, and there was an increasing tendency noticed in this age group. In this paper, from the application of logistic regression models using the Global school-based student health survey (2012) as a source of information, we looked for similarities and differences in student behavior in ages 13 to 15 in Argentina and Bolivia in relation to the suicide attempts and associated factors (risk factors and protective factors). Among the main findings, it is observed that the behavior in both countries follow similar patterns and the impact of each of the factors is greater in women.
