Comment on “Semi-exact solutions of sextic potential plus a centrifugal term”

Abstract

We analyze recent results for the Schrödinger equation with the potential V(x) = ax- 2+ bx2+ cx4+ dx6. We show that some of the conclusions drawn by the authors from numerical results can be derived by analytical means. More importantly, our analysis of the behaviour of the wavefunction at origin casts doubts on the numerical results reported by the authors for some negative values of the model parameter a.
