A press base of news related to digital platforms and a catalog of collective actions around location-based platforms were developed. In addition, documentary analysis was carried out. The analysis shows that during the first semester of 2016 a conflictive escalation took place. After its stagnation, a cycle of protest began in the second half of 2018. This occurred in a context of “bad news” linked to the ineffectiveness of state powers to regulate and control companies. While the taxi sector mobilized in rejection of passenger transportation platforms, the workers of delivery platforms acted to improve their working conditions.
