Elementos para pensar el problema de la tecnocracia en Gilbert Simondon

Abstract

Tras plantear el problema de la tecnocracia a partir del debate entre Marcuse y Habermas, el artículo sitúa la perspectiva de Simondon frente a la cuestión y, tematizando las relaciones entre sociedad, cultura y desarrollo tecnológico, analiza una serie de elementos éticos y políticos implicados en su filosofía. En este sentido, el texto aborda las críticas simondonianas a la utopía tecnocrática, introduce su conceptualización de la técnica, y examina sobre dicha base los tres conceptos que aporta para repensar la práctica política (pensamientos político-sociales, acto de gobierno, juicio político).After posing the problem of technocracy according to the debate between Marcuse and Habermas, the article situates Simondon’s perspective and, thematizing the relations between society, culture and technological development, it analyzes a series of ethical and political elements involved in his philosophy. In this vein, the paper addresses Simondon’s criticism of the technocratic utopia, introduces his conceptualization of the technique and examines the three concepts he provides to rethink political practice (political-social thoughts, act of government, political judgment).
