Palabras del crimen. Prensa, delito y política en el territorio nacional de La Pampa, Argentina (1920-1930)

Abstract

El artículo propone examinar las características de la crónica policial en el territorio nacional de La Pampa en las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Específicamente, consideramos la emergencia de un discurso que asociaba la situación de la justicia con la necesidad de reformas estructurales en el gobierno de los territorios nacionales. A partir de los diarios de mayor circulación en la capital pampeana, La Autonomía y La Capital, pretendemos identificar la representación del crimen y los argumentos acerca de la limitada intervención estatal.The aim of this article is examine the characteristic of police´s chronicles in la Pampa national territory during the first decades of 20th century. Specifically, we consider the emergency of a speech that associated the situation of the justice with the necessity of structural reforms in the government of national territories. From the newspapers of La Pampa, La Autonomía and La Capital, we point to identify the representation of crime and the arguments about the limited state intervention.
