This paper compiles first-person oral narratives from women in Tucumán who experienced university life at the National University of Tucumán (UNT) between 1960 and 1970. It offers a local perspective on the topic, seeking to recover individual accounts, triangulated with local and national bibliographic documents. This exploratory and interpretive work is based on qualitative analysis. The main focus of the inquiry was the women's own recounted experiences of university life: their entry, time spent there, and/or graduation. This led to social, familial, and personal considerations surrounding "going to university" during those years. The trajectories of these women at the University of Tucumán in the 1960s and 70s were shaped by multiple facets that extended far beyond the classroom. During the testimonies, references emerged to the exercise of sexuality, the use of the contraceptive pill, religious discourses, and references to the social activism of those years.
