The manuscript of this play is in the Biblioteca Nacional Mariano Moreno’s archive and still unpublished. Among the multiple subjects the play presents, we are particularly interested in the construction of American subject from territoriality, a Cultural Geographie’s concept. The reconstruction of the landscape trought the characters’ speech of Idamia o la reunión inesperada and, comparatively, of Il Selvaggio, is essential to understand the European imaginary about our continent and how Morante, from his half-breed condition, reformulates that conception concerning the reception of the rioplatense’s audience.
