The objective of this work in Saavedra (Buenos Aires province) was the elaboration of sustainable models trough alternative cycles of livestock and crop production. The Monte Carlo programming was employed with assumptions of technologies applied by farmers and were obtained about 30.000 models. There were chosen 30 models and were calculated the following parameters: stocking rate (cow equivalent/livestock ha), beef production (kg/livestock ha), stock efficiency (%), livestock production gross margin (GM), crop production GM, and total GM. Averages of Saavedra parameters were, respectively, in models: 0.71; 141.1; 52.8; 46.0; 183.8 and 92.9, and in real systems: 0.54; 86.0; 34.8; 40.7; 88.2 and 58.0, respectively. Results showed that Saavedra potential productivities are higher than the real systems and it is possible to obtain it with low cost and known technologies.
