The article discusses the criteria of distributive justice for the selection of beneficiaries of two Student Scholarship Program -the first of a state agency of the Province of Buenos Aires, the other implemented by a Non Gubernamental Organization- in high schools in the Jurisdiction that I will call Gran La Plata (consisting of its namesake city, Ensenada and Florencio Varela). The work is organized in three sections. The tour begins with a brief discussion about the way that the social sciences approach the study of the concept of "justice" and then explore the notion that education actors -students, teachers and administrators and representatives of state and Non Gubernamental Organizations (CSOs) - "at stake" to the situations described. Thus, we seek to understand both what decisions subjects defined as just and what unjust and the legitimacy of decisions taken. Finally, the third parte of the article, explores two aspects: the representations upon the form in which the recipient used the money obtained and the various “figures” of the scholars which manifest in the establishment concerned.
