The article presents the process of creating the educational materials called ‘Efemérides Interculturales’ (Intercultural Patriotic Celebrations) with the aim of vindicating the contributions of Indigenous peoples to the historical processes that are commemorated in Argentina’s school calendar. The process is outlined in four stages: survey and systematization of sources and remote fieldwork; ethnographic work in schools and Indigenous communities in Chaco, Misiones, Neuquén and Salta; collaborative workshops with Indigenous teachers; and design of the materials.
