Cooperativas agropecuarias: ¿son los principios cooperativos la contrapartida a su vigencia en el territorio? El caso de la Provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina

Abstract

Las cooperativas agropecuarias permanecen como actores clave en la ruralidad de Entre Ríos. Este estudio analiza la vigencia de los principios cooperativos en un conjunto de cooperativas, identificando tensiones vinculadas a la competencia, escalamiento y mercantilización del sistema agroalimentario. A partir de entrevistas, se reconoce cómo dichos principios sostienen la adaptación, el crecimiento y la transformación de estas organizaciones en una economía marcada por el mercado y actores de escala global.Agricultural cooperatives remain key actors in the rural landscape of Entre Ríos. This study examines the continued relevance of cooperative principles in a group of cooperatives, identifying tensions related to competition, scaling, and the increasing commodification of the agri-food system. Based on interviews, the analysis shows how these principles support the adaptation, growth, and transformation of these organizations within an economy shaped by the market and global-scale actors.
