Autoritarismo, nacionalismo, fascismo y Doctrina de la Seguridad Nacional en Debate sobre las dictaduras del Cono Sur latinoamericano de la segunda mitad del siglo XX

Abstract

Pese a sus muy amplias diferencias, los debates sobre la naturaleza de los regímenes dictatoriales latinoamericanos han buscado dar cuenta de una serie de claves interpretativas que se concentran fuertemente en lo que se consideran sus rasgos comunes. En este trabajo repasaremos las principales contribuciones a esos debates, seleccionando los aportes más significativos que evidencian los modos en que las nociones de autoritarismo, nacionalismo y fascismo han sido empleadas para explicar de la naturaleza y las orientaciones ideológicas de los regímenes dictatoriales del Cono Sur.Despite their very wide differences, debates on the nature of Latin American dictatorial regimes have sought to account for a series of interpretative keys that focus strongly on what are considered to be their common features. In this paper we will review the main contributions to these debates, selecting the most significant contributions that allow us to account for the ways in which the notions of authoritarianism, nationalism, and fascism have been used to explain the nature and ideological orientations of the dictatorial regimes of the Southern Cone.
