Resumen
Objectives: Leptin is a pleiotropic hormone produced by the placentawhere it plays important functions. We have previously demonstrated thatleptin promotes proliferation and survival of trophoblastic cells. In thiswork we aimed to study the effect of leptin in placental cell stress inducedby Cobalt Chloride (CoCl2), a hypoxia mimicking agent that stabilizes HIF1a transcription factor.
