De vándalos y gente civilizada… memorias barriales, silencios y dictadura

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el proceso de construcción de sentidos y memorias en torno a un hecho conflictivo (la quema de una bandera) ocurrido en una escuela primaria del sur de la ciudad de Córdoba durante la última dictadura militar argentina (1976-1983). En dicho proceso se entrelazan recuerdos, silenciamientos y olvidos que buscaron reforzar el respeto a las autoridades y los símbolos; así como también diferentes interpretaciones y experiencias vecinales colmadas de ambigüedades y tensiones. El material de análisis combina y compara observaciones en actos escolares, entrevistas y la revisión de documentos de archivos estatales, vecinales y de prensa.This work analyzes the process of constructing meanings and memories about a conflicting event (the burning of a flag) that occurred in a primary school in the south of the city of Córdoba during the last argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983). In this process are intertwined memories, silences and forgetfulness that sought to reinforce respect for authorities and symbols; as well as different interpretations and neighborhood experiences full of ambiguities and tensions. The analysis material combines and compares observations at school events, interviews, and the review of state, neighborhood, and press archives.
