In this paper we discuss the methodological connection that we carry out as members of Research Group on Education and Cultural Studies (GIEEC) in the State University of Mar del Plata. The association of the biographical narrative approach with the educational ethnography enhances the biographical value that emerges from the educators’ narratives. The presence of researchers in their classrooms allows for various protagonists and perspectives, so the findings integrate polyphonic meanings that account for the connection between life and experience. In this sense, the interview –in various forms– constitutes an effective tool to understand and interpret what the subjects believe, think, feel, say and do in the educational environment, always intertwining classroom and life.
