We also studied the effect of impurities en CsCl, contributing to the comprehension of experimental results of the optical absorption in thin films with residual stress. We also modeled the electronic and optical properties of the wide band-gap semiconductor materials PbI2 and ZnO. The former can be used as high energy radiation sensor in X-ray and gamma biomedical equipments. The ZnO shows important piezoelectric and biocompatibility properties, making it a good option for applications in bioimplant.
