Analysis Around Kafka and other essays of Ezequiel Martínez Estrada can recognize the concept of realism (inherited from the Czech author) that he manages in their own narratives. In this case, it addresses one of his stories, “Marta Riquelme”, which discursively constructs an image of “the other” support in different planes: author, narrator, genre, characters, etc. At the same time, this writer expresses a feeling of foreignness in their actual production contexts and fictional, that is, in the creation of particular texts. The findings show that Martínez Estrada presents an own image of what different according to the conception of traditional narrative.
