This article presents the central aspects of the virtual conference given by Analía Inés Meo in the framework of the “Jornadas internas de Sociología de la Educación 2021” of the Faculty of Humanities of the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP). The triggering question of this meeting was: what should we ask to the Sociology of Education in times of pandemic and post-pandemic? This paper shares a provisional analysis on the construction of the sociology of education research agenda not only during the pandemic, but also during the pre-pandemic period and identifies some potential post-pandemic research lines of inquiry. In this way, the author presents four possible lines of analysis: teachers´ work from a gender perspective; emotions and affects; the digitization of variety of aspects of the school life and the pedagogic work; and, iv) research the emergence and consolidation of different new forms of privatization of education.
