Primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) progressively affects the ganglion cell bodies and their axons, producing an irreversible visual deficit. Diagnosis in the early stage will allow appropriate treatment to be applied, while preserving vision. Meanwhile, it is crucial to have tools that allow early detection. Chromatic pupillometry is useful in the study of retinal function. Therefore, this work proposes to assess the relationships between pupillary parameters with functional and structural parameters in patients with suspected POAG.
