The closing of the current year has been a peak period that will go down in history as one worth studying, it is one of those icons that mark an era, the closing of the second decade of the 21st century is marking what could be the third, Surely we are facing the beginning of a new political cycle in the region. Chile is one of the countries that has stood out in this regard, although neighboring countries have had expressions of this end of the cycle (or the beginning of a new one), they have been marked by the initiative of the conservative, confessional and business right that It has been characterized by violence, soft and hard coups, in addition to the assumption of power through questioned processes such as Argentina and Brazil, the long and narrow country stands out for a surprise and extensive social mobilization that they have named as “social outbreak "In what was considered a regional" oasis "and also as an" economic miracle. " This article makes an analytical review of the political and social phenomenon of the Chilean movement, trying to deliver certain elements that allow us to understand the “awakening of the people”, as the protesters themselves sing in their marches, presenting the slogans of the demands through sources journalistic that realize the current phenomenon and the failure of the social sciences against the Chilean reality.
