La persistencia de una tradición política: Las huellas liberal-conservadoras en el diario La Nación en 1955 y 2015

Abstract

En los últimos años las derechas han sido abordadas por numerosos enfoques desde las ciencias sociales. Este trabajo propone reconstruir las continuidades en las lecturas que el diario La Nación, como expresión de la derecha liberal conservadora, construyó en los comienzos del gobierno de Macri y en el golpe de 1955. Esta hipótesis no signi$ ca plantear que la etapa el macrismo sea la continuidad lineal de la dictadura de 1955 o que el diario La Nación reproduzca sin más los argumentos esgrimidos en ese marco, sino más bien que en la lectura de ciertos actores clave en el campo ideológico existen tradiciones fundantes de los posicionamientos políticos que se reactivan en las distintas coyunturas. El objetivo central es entonces dar cuenta que las interpretaciones producidas en 2015 no constituyen una novedad sino que son parte de la conformación de un discurso y una memoria retórica argumental liberal que es posible reconstruir con el análisis comparado.In recent years, rights have been addressed by numerous approaches from the social sciences. This work proposes to reconstruct the continuities in the readings that the newspaper La Nación, as an expression of the conservativeliberal right, built at the beginning of Macri’s government and in the coup of 1955. This hypothesis does not mean that the stage of Macrism is the linear continuity of the dictatorship of 1955 or that the newspaper La Nación simply reproduces the arguments put forward in this framework, but rather that in the reading of certain key actors in the ideological " eld there are founding traditions of the political positions that are reactivated in the different junctures. The main objective then is to realize that the interpretations produced in 2015 do not constitute a novelty but are part of the formation of a liberal discourse and rhetorical argumentative memory that can be reconstructed with comparative analysis.
