Introduction: The study of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) allows a multidimensional assessment that complements clinical indicators with the subjective experience of individuals. This comprehensive approach acquires relevance in the care of children, adolescents and young people (CAY) with disabilities, since they represent a vulnerable population with various problems that affect their lives. Recognizing the complex and dynamic interrelationship of influences on health, this project emphasizes the need for information on HRQOL in this population at a national level. Aim: To describe the HRQOL of CAY with motor disabilities in Argentina by analyzing its correlates with clinical and sociodemographic variables; and to implement an interactive virtual platform for linkage with educational and therapeutic centers that provide care to this population. Methods: Social epidemiological study, of cross-sectional descriptive design, on CAY from 4 to 24 years of age with motor disabilities living in Argentina. Data on HRQOL, clinical and sociodemographic variables will be collected. An interactive virtual platform will allow remote participation of CAY, families, educational and health centers, with immediate results. Expected results: To gather necessary data for a comprehensive approach to the health of children and adolescents with disabilities in Argentina, and to provide health and educational institutions with useful tools for the supervision of preventive and therapeutic actions. Likewise, the participation of families provides with a valuable opportunity to reveal the needs of this population that can be addressed in public policies.
