This article analyzes the links between teaching, disciplinary knowledge and the formation of productive networks in the first half of the 20th century based on the career of the oenologist José Alazraqui. It is hypothesized that the connections generated by this agronomist in the different areas where he developed his activities as a technician at the service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Nation (MAN), were the technical and symbolic platform that made it possible to occupy a relevant academic space in the training of experts, first, and in the formation of agronomists, later.
