In this paper we seek to rethink and put into dialogue the contributions of the intersectional perspective and the anthropological approach. Based on our ethnographic research work with indigenous and non-indigenous chil-dren from different regions of Argentina, we systematize a bibliographical corpus from these two paths and discuss their possible reciprocal contribu-tions. We first present a re-reading of the genealogy of the intersectional view and its main concepts and then unfold the two-way dialogues that we believe are relevant to encourage from our anthropological perspective. We argue that the contemporary quests of these lines of thought may converge, which is why it is important to encourage exchange and mutual reinforcement.
