This work analyze, on the basis of interviews and a survey of solid waste, the characteristics, achievements and difficulties of the task undertaken by the government to achieve the objectives of the program. Casting light on this is substantial for rethinking the management and initiate new more successful and responsible projects in the comprehensive treatment of domestic waste.
