Gato montés entrerriano (Leopardus geoffroyi): Distribución y amenazas

Abstract

En este trabajo se reporta la distribución de las citas modernas del gato montés (Leopardus geoffroyi) en la provincia de Entre Ríos analizando las principales amenazas locales. Décadas pasadas fue una especie muy abundante y actualmente está restringida por diversos factores como la pérdida de hábitat, los atropellamientos y/o la caza por represalia.In this paper, the distribution of modern records of the Geoffroy’s Cat for the province of Entre Ríos is reported, analyzing the main local threats.
