In this article our first aim is to attend Negri´s critique of Derrida´s Specters of Marx. This critique has two moments. One, when Negri argues that Derrida is a prisoner of the same ontology that he attempts to deconstruct. The other, when the Italian philosopher says that Derrida´s ethical-political proposal is not effective. Although Negri admits that the deconstruction has a critical utility, he states that Derrida´s political proposal has no practical influence because he doesn´t decide on the ontology of the specter. Finally we reconstruct Derrida´s answer, pointing out his critique to the re-ontologization that Negri wants to achieve and its political consequences.
