This paper analyses the impact of the China-CELAC Forum (CCF) on strengthening relations between China and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in its 10 years. Since its establishment in 2014, the forum has promoted cooperation in politics, security, trade, science, technology and culture, underscoring LAC's autonomy and proposing a partnership based on equality and mutual respect. In this decade, trade and investment between China and LAC have grown significantly, consolidating China as a crucial partner. However, challenges remain, such as the diversification of exports and the reduction of asymmetries, central themes in the FCC's proposals. Despite pressure from the United States, the FCC has maintained its relevance, strengthening CELAC's position in the global dialogue and facilitating China's rapprochement with the region. The forum has promoted a perspective of international relations aligned with the principles of the Global South, such as cooperation, respect for sovereignty and mutual benefit.
