In the present article, we seek to understand the experience of the “CGT de los Argentinos”, between 1970 and 1973, period mostly unattended by whom studied that combative central union. During this period, militancy work was done in the grassroots organizations. Deu to the absence of the clandestine editions of the newspaper CGT, we reconstruct that experience with periodic sources, archives and interviews. The texts aims to analyze why the liders of the CGTA support this Central Federation, despite it had been strongly repressed, and the unionism was rebuilding in the CGT, there was a possibility of a political transition, and new experiences of fighting trade unionism began to proliferate.
