This article presents a work on musical and political experience of a batucada formed in 2014 which participated actively and prominently in various activities related to the struggles and demands of gender and sexuality fought in the streets since 2015 to this part in the city and province of Buenos Aires. This experience is part of a large set of musical practices that in recent years have been articulating forms of social organization of cis women, non-binary people and trans men through percussion, and that became spaces that experience feminism –and transfeminism– from the collective connection with music. The analysis proposes to think about the activist and aesthetic process of Batuka from the notion of “feminist resonance”, following a participant ethnographic approach.
